The SSL build now links OpenSSL 3 and ships a network_https unit test that performs a real TLS handshake and encrypted HTTP round-trips over loopback with a runtime-generated certificate — with a clear certificate-verification hardening path on the roadmap.

A rigorous single-node latency benchmark of Psyclone AIOS against NATS, ROS 2, iceoryx, eCAL and ZeroMQ – competitive default speed, the tightest tails measured, and the runtime-reconfiguration capabilities that set it apart.
We’re excited to release Psyclone AIOS 2.1.1 — the most significant update to Psyclone since the 2.0 line. If you build real-time, distributed, publish/subscribe systems, this release makes Psyclone faster, more portable, and far easier to drive from the language you already use. Here’s what’s new since our last release (2.0.3). Psyclone now runs natively…
Psyclone and its CMSDK core now build, run, and pass the full test suite as a first-class citizen on Apple Silicon and Intel macOS — joining Linux and Windows. The entire distributed pub/sub platform, from shared-memory messaging to the PsyProbe web monitor, is now developed and validated natively on Mac hardware. Share:LinkedInXEmail Published by CMLabs….
Eliminated a class of silent data races: std::map::operator[] on read paths was inserting empty entries under a shared read lock (routing races + unbounded map growth). Fixed across SubscriptionEngine, Node, Monitoring, ServiceManager, InterSystemManager and the Catalogs, plus mutex-leak fixes and a NetworkChannel shutdown deadlock. Earlier this year we shipped verified TLS/HTTPS support in CMSDK, with a network_https test performing a real handshake and encrypted round-trips over loopback using a runtime-generated certificate. That proved the transport worked. It did not, on its own, make it safe by default — and we said at the time that certificate-verification hardening was on…
Two macOS timeout primitives treated an absolute deadline as a relative countdown, silently turning bounded waits into infinite hangs under contention — the root cause of intermittent 30-second teardown stalls. Now fixed and soak-validated. Share:LinkedInXEmail Published by CMLabs.
